Visitor Info

We warmly invite you to worship with us on Sunday mornings. Whether you are new to Phoenixville or a long-time resident of our community, you will find a warm welcome, meaningful worship, and opportunities for spiritual growth. We hope the following information will help you prepare to worship with us.

What time is the worship service?

Our worship service starts at 10:00 AM every Sunday morning.

How should I dress?

Wear what is comfortable for you. Some of us wear jeans; some of us wear business casual. Our philosophy: God looks at our hearts — not our clothes!

Where are you located?

We are located at the corner of Gay St. and Church St., across from the Phoenixville post office. Our street address:

248 Church St.
Phoenixville
610-933-4352 (if you get lost)

Where do I park?

Our parking lot is next to the church building. The entrance to the parking lot is on Church St.

What building entrance do I use?

Due to remodeling over the years, the entrances to our building might be a bit confusing. We apologize!

If you park in the church parking lot, you can use the red doors directly off the parking lot. These doors take you into the church lobby. If you walk to the church via Gay St., you can use the red doors on Gay St.  These doors also take you into the church lobby.

Please note that the red doors that face Church St. are generally not used because they lead directly into the front of the sanctuary.  Our advice:  Enter from the parking lot or from Gay St.

What about nursery care?

We offer loving care for infants and toddlers (through age 4). Parents, however, are welcome to keep their children with them for the entire service if they prefer. If you choose to use the nursery, ask the usher for directions to the nursery.

What do you offer for children?

Children are a welcome part of our worship services. They are invited to participate with small instruments during the praise (music) time. An engaging and relevant “mini sermon” is taught during the children’s moment. Then the children (through grade 4)  are encouraged to attend children’s church where age-appropriate activities enhance their worship experience.  If parents prefer, children are welcome to stay with them for the entire worship service, but children usually love to go to children’s church.

What is the service like?

band

We have a blended contemporary and traditional worship service. A typical worship service starts with a time of greeting. We are a friendly church and make regular attenders and newcomers feel welcome. During the praise (music) time, we sing contemporary songs and classic Christian hymns in a contemporary style, led by our small praise band. We offer an engaging and relevant “mini sermon” to the children before they go to children’s church. The pastor then preaches part 1 of his bible-based message. The congregation shares prayer concerns and praises, followed by the pastoral-led prayer. Part 2 of the message and the closing prayer conclude the service.

Is there an offering?

Yes, we take an offering during the worship service. Members of our church family cheerfully accept the responsibility to financially support our ministries, based on their individual abilities to give. Visitors are not obligated to give.

What about communion?

We observe communion (Lord’s Supper) the first Sunday of each month. If you are a follower of Christ, you are welcome to participate.
